You are cordially invited to help shape the cultural future of San Jose. The City of San Jose is preparing a Cultural Vision Plan to guide the community’s cultural development in the coming decade. This plan will inform Envision San Jose 2040, the update to the City’s general plan and will also function as a stand alone plan for the Office of Cultural Affairs, City government and our partners in the community. It is a noteworthy milestone that, for the first time in San Jose’s history, the City’s general plan will include a strategic vision and goals for arts and culture that will serve as a blueprint for cultural development for the next 10-15 years.

There are two important ways in which you can help to shape the Cultural Vision Plan. By participating in the Cultural Vision Plan Community Survey and the Cultural Vision Plan Town Hall Meeting you can share your opinions and play a role in planning arts and culture for our community: downtown, the neighborhoods, children and young people, our diverse population, and more.

Here are the details:
Cultural Vision Plan Survey
The recent online survey that is part of the larger planning framework for Envision 2040 included some questions about arts and cultural activity. With that as a baseline, this Cultural Vision Plan survey specifically explores these topics in greater depth.
This online survey will only take about 10 minutes to complete. Your responses are confidential and will only be reviewed by the consulting team. Please click on the link below to start the survey.
